If they bring back the jackhammer.....

NC jackhammer in ps1 is a good gun in close up but it's shocking bad in range real bad
Befor it had two fire modes normal and triple shot, now a days no one uses it

What changes would you like to see to the jackhammer?

Also will it be heavy class only? Will it have two fire modes again?

I'm not certain that I understand your post or its purpose.

Edit: Ah ! I think I get it: you want to know our opinion on how the Jackhammer should be changed in PS2 !

Well... We do not know enough about PS2 to really talk balance.

Now concerning PS1, the JH was much better than the lasher so buff or nerf accordingly.
"My HA should be good and be able to triple shot at short, medium and long range" is not a balanced proposition.

If it is, our lasher should shoot Aurora orbs.

The Jackhammer is perfectly fine as it is. It does its role well. If you want to fight long range grab a Gauss.

I'll just modify my sweeper to shoot as fast and have a drum mag, effectively increasing it's ammo capacity. Done. TR Jackhammer.

Before y'all jump on my case, no I don't know what weapon mods the shotgun will have. I don't even know if there will be a shotgun for light armor use in PS2.

The jackhammer is great close range and gauss is great long range but unlike the other two emipres HA weapon they are close - mid range weapons

I think they should add two fire modes normal and tight spreed for longer ranges

The VS have to deal with a shitty lasher that can't do shit unless in the most experienced hands, and let me tell you, me and most of the VS just use the sweeper or pulsar instead.

jackhammer should really be common pool.

but really, nothing beats a JH close range though, it turns a retard into a hero, 2 shots to skill agile 3-4 to take down a rexo. its pretty easy to takedown 3 people at once when you have a JH, no so when you have any other weapon.

yes, i just used PS1 as an example for PS2.

or if its intended to be the equivalent of a MCG or lasher expect the JH to more or less function like a like a BCBC2 SAIGA or USAS, it has a much longer max range than a M870 or SPAS.

ya really, why would i want to lead my shots(rewarding me with the same TTK) and have half those shots do no damage, with an inferior damage per clip, when i can direct fire nail them to the wall with an MCG or JH.

I always figured the JH, as powerful as it is, took a little more skill than the MCG because you had to time your shots right, especially when someone is ADAD warping. The MCG is just hold down the mouse button and point.

I wouldn't mind seeing each empire get their own version of the different HA styles if only to stem the "grass is always greener" syndrome.

I dont mind fighting against the Jackhammer I did mind however fighting against the Guass or Cicler for the reason YOU COULD CROUCH BEHIND COVER WITH THEM BOTH

Pulsar was not so good for that having to stand to shoot over a wall or in a courtyard = bad idea as you would normally catch a bolt driver round in the face.

Believe me, we ALL suffered that BS. I'm not expecting that same problem in PS2, especially with iron-sights. If there was even one reason for any hater to praise them being in PS2, solving this problem is it.

I thought it was the other way around. At close range, the JH has a spread therefore you don't have to be directly aiming on them. But with the MCG the COF isn't as big so you have to aim more.
