The model is pretty awesome but the constrast of colours doesn't work for me.

The clothes underneath are too plain to suit the bright yellow and blue on top.

Still, very nice though

I don't worry about that.
I'm sure you can unlock some colorful pieces of armor to place on your legs/knees/other-places, which would reduce the contrast you pointed out.

Looks so much like Judge Dredd, I'm going to start referring to NC LA's as "Dredds"; as in, "Where are our damn Dredds, we need them over that wall ASAP!"
