The landscape and bases leave me speechless. Getting to fight in these settings, both out in the open fields and in the huge facilities is going to be incredible. I just...just...yeah this will be sweet. |

Also, I really hope they reuse the PS1 base names. I thought they were perfect, and I already have them memorized.

Yeah, when they fix the vehicle lagginess while moving, the game already looks to be in a great shape at least from what they have shown us this far.
Something that keeps sorta catching my eye. I'm not sure if it's just not done yet, but there's basically no transition between the weapon while sprinting and when "jogging". The gun just "teleports" into the new position and then just teleports back. Sure, it's a fast movement RL too, but it looks a bit weird. That said, easily one of these things that are still WIP.

Absolutely awesome.
Awesome job,as usual! On a PR level may i suggest the "5 years players will be equal to 5 minutes player" sentence to be translated in a less shocking way like "your skill will matter mostly" or something like that, not stressing that 5 years of experience might be useless against a 5 min player, wich is totally fine since it's the feature i appreciate the most in MMOFPS. A lot of people want their XP points, K/D ratio etc "matter",and this could scare them... Also,I noticed that running is a little slower than expected or seen in the GDC gameplay, is that related to the player being heavy assault or was just a network issue? Thanks |

also the weak spots existed in PS1 (the BFR shield gen) so if you where smart enought you could scare a tank off or at least be able to damage it a little.
Also in real life some tanks had (i don't remember what model and when) had a weak spot you could damage with light rifle fire. Since PS2 is a infantry shooter i think having some way to at least "interfere" with normal tanks operations is a must. like trowing EMP nades,T-REK, and so on. |
