This was one of the more memorable shows in my opinion. I loved hearing everyone's thoughts on the E3 footage and from the few who were lucky enough to get hands on action. It was really nice for us as a community to be able to focus on something concrete, rather than primarily on speculation.
Great job everyone involved! Oh, and that door was creeping me out... |

Really interesting show, it's good to hear other peoples views on problems or thoughts about our beloved PS2, definitely gave me better idea's about what to expect PS2 to be like, other than what I saw on the E3 live-streams.
Looking forward to the next one AGN team |

A good interesting show.
I must say the E3 footage has changed my mind about the catapult things. I feared that the catapults added to Light Assault jumpjets would promote a Tribes fighting while flying thing. But it didn't so fears assuaged. |

Congratulations for the SOE interview !
It's really a good news to see how SOE has changed and tries to take care of their community of fans better than they did in the past. (and that they chose a Planetside community to start it !) Edit: holy s*** Captn ! Last edited by sylphaen; 2012-06-11 at 05:42 AM. |

There's a great deal of discussion about AV vs MAXes at the end of the video.
Folks need to keep in mind that the AV class is the Heavy Infantry, who carries both an LMG/HA and an AV weapon. As for just how much damage they do, I recall a "kill cam" screen from a max killed by AV. It showed the last 37% of the damage was from that AV. So at an absolute worst case, it would take 3 AV hits to kill a MAX. I suspect it will be two, or even one (perhaps for a decimator equivalent: high damage, low accuracy). And anyone can carry C4. Two C4 packs blew up an MBT in TotalBiscuit's original video. I'd image one will take down a MAX just fine. MAXes may or may not set off AV mines, which I would also guess to be a one-shot kill. Does anyone else remember the first few weeks of PS1? MAXes utterly dominated. Very few people had AV out of the gate, so MAXes nearly got a free pass until they ran into another MAX. As folks got a feel for the game and went up in BR, this honeymoon period faded into history. Yes, MAXes kicked ass at E3. But it's easy to see that folks didn't have the habits needed to properly respond to them, and some folks still managed to take MAXes down solo by kiting them in light assault. Not worried. |

Enjoyed the show overall.
Some feedback on the audio: AGN crew was perfect as always. Neurotoxin was ok (no shave til beta?) Basti was too quiet, even when he moved his mic closer. Manitou was ok Captain 1nsaneo was too quiet, same level as Basti. Robocpf was ok considering he was travelling. Saieno? no problem's hearing him at all. Its not easy getting everyone at same levels but you do ask for guests to be available an hour before so I assume you do some testing then. Maybe its only at the stream end or maybe its just me, I am interested in hearing what each guest has to say. Do you find the volume levels to be the same with everyone? The varying sound levels will be interesting in PS2's VOIP. Its not going to work well for some if there is a great variance in each others volume levels and you cant adjust someone who sounds quiet with out blowing your eardrum because someone else is loud. Good show, appreciate guests taking time out to share their pov. |

Hey Dogbolta - Thank alot for the feedback. Always nice to have a critical ear out there. Good to hear our studio audio is solid. As for our guest - as we're using Google+ hangouts, we do make an effort to pre-screen our connection prior to the show for quality and levels. I believe hangouts does have some form of auto-leveling for audio but variations invariably occur. While we could gain ride the audio for the lower levels or louder levels, in the end it's likely to be more intrusive and noticeable than just leaving it alone. We'll endeavor to try to get our participants all at same level if possible, but it's likely that variations will creep in despite whatever efforts we make for consistency. Again though, we appreciate the observations and feedback! Keep tuning in!
