Just wondering what advantages the pulsar has compared to the gauss and the cycler.

Gauss Advantage = High damage
Cycler Advanage = High rate of fire
Pulsar Advantage = Low recoil
Pulsar Disadvantage = Fire takes longer to get to target

I really wish they'd give us an dev interview showing all the specific disadvantages and advantages of each rifle.

Pulsar can switch from normal shots to Armor Piercing instantly. Pulsar fires as fast as the others, the Lasher fires slowly. Gauss has farthest range, slower rate of fire, high damage.

I doubt a laser will travel anny slower than bullets, i'm guessing the pulsar has a slightly faster speed than the others if annything.

cycler has farther range than gauss and 4x zoom

Where the hell are you getting this shit from? Are you pulling it out of your ass?
Unless theres a dev interview that says this, i don't want to hear made up shit. Someone give me a link to your source.

All it says in the weapons info is that they all have long range capabilities, the cycler is faster firing then the gauss, the gauss does more damage then the cycler, and the pulsar has low recoil. Other then that, if you've watched any of hte videos, the pulsar's projectiles fly slower then the others. You have to lead your target at practically any range with the pulsar. I'd like to know what advantages the pulsar has, if any. I'd also like to see a dev interview on this if any.

In what vid do you see a pulsar firering? Can see the lasher firering in alott of them but can't recall seeing a pulsar firering.

Personally i prefer higher damage weapons with a lower rate of fire, to me it's like comparing an mp5 to an m4 in counter strike, except the cycler doesnt have the maneuverability of the mp5 while firing. With an m4, you can be moving alot, then stop for a second and fire off two rounds, move for a second suddenly stop, fire off two more rounds, etc. until the guys dead. Usually first two shots kill him if its a well placed hs... Too bad theres no hs's in planetside, would seperate the noobs from the pros. Don't get me wrong, i don't want 1 shot kills, I'd just want like double the damage of the gun your firing if it's a hs or just some increase in damage. Would seperate the sprayers and the people who actually aim.

Yeah I was just looking at the pics and now I see that the gauss has a 40 round clip and the cycler has a 50 round clip. http://www.planetside-universe.com/....php?img_id=445

If you look on the bottom of the screen with the picture of the highlighted gauss, you'll see a number 40 below the pic and to the left, and since the gauss is completely highlighted, not just like 1/4 or 1/2 or whatever it means that its fully reloaded, hence the 40 round clip.

If you look on the bottom with the picture of the highlighted cycler, you'll see a number 50 below hte pic and to the left, and since the cycler is completely highlighted, not just like 1/4 or 1/2 or whatever it means that the clip is full, hence the 50 round clip.
To the left of the cycler pic at the bottom is a pistol pic, it only has 13 rounds left in the clip, hence the pic of the pistol not being fully highlighted.

We'll all find out when we're in the VR room testing out the weapons. What we knew for sure is that the cycler is fastest, gauss is strongest with some zoom, and the pulsar has the least recoil and is probably the most accurate. We don't know anything else for sure.

i thought the cycler had the 4x zoom? I gues it would make more sense for the gauss to have it but the wepeans section says the cyclers got it.
