Man, I want T-Ray to support me ingame like that over voice. Could make it a special cashshop-item, but that'd go against the whole "Can't buy power from the shop"-thing. Last edited by captainkapautz; 2012-06-12 at 03:07 AM. |

God damn Tray is a bad ass haha cracks me up everytime.
All in favor of an optional Tray walk through when you first login say I; It would feature Tray in the bottom corner of the screen pointing and explaining what everything is. I would seriously pay money for this. |

This is worth $40,00.
I wouldn't pay any less for it. Having Tray say "Niiiice, you took it right out of the air" every time you blew up an aircraft or jetpacking Light Assault, or alert you by saying "There's another max suit there, take him out! Nice, you got him!" (5:49) |

Very good interview though.. watching all of these kind of makes you understand why he's like "stop asking!" at the end.... god they have to answer the same questions for months at a time...

Is that the first confirmation that different traction on differing surfaces is already in the game? I know they had stated they intended to do it like on Esamir and places like that, but I don't recall ever hearing that it was already implemented.
Cool interview, TRay's always fun to listen to. |

So much friendly fire
I remember them saying that the grief system will make its return in Planetside 2, however I haven't seen anything of it during the E3 footage. I think they should keep the system very similar to what was the case in Planetside 1, where you hear a beeping sound and red numbers indicating grief points on your screen, so you are aware that you are firing at friendlies. It's just strange to see that player shoot the MMOhut guy from behind for so long, failing to kill him, chasing him and then eventually killing him, if all the warnings of a grief system were in place. |

I also have a bad feeling about the hole team killing thing.
Keep in mind once the game is released there will be A LOT of new comers who havent played the previous planetside game and will have no clue what's going on. I have the feeling that probably 50% or even 60% of the player base after the release will be composed of new players like that, and in their first few hours of gameplay they will be team killing like crazy simply because they ll have no idea what's going on. Not to mention that an f2p game like that which will get some popularity will inevitably have trolls. The old grief system from planetside 1 may not be enought for planetside 2. However i do have fate in SOE and i am pretty sure that if TK becomes a major problem they will think of something |
