I like the idea of having music per faction. I think that music is powerful, though. It has to be wielded intentionally and judiciously, as one would wield any great power. =)
My thoughts would be that TR should be something military, brassy and strong. Something like John Williams, Wagner, or (though I detest him) Hans Zimmer. VS should be something electronic or techy sounding, and tracks from Red Alert or possibly other of the C&C games come to mind. Maybe some of the Mechwarrior games... NC... We're hard. I'm thinking some sort of metal or rock would work, but then I also think you could get by with something more 60s/70s too. The counter-culture vibe would probably work well for the rebellious NC. Classically, maybe less militaristic fanfares and brass with choral elements, or something more American in sound. As Examples... Last edited by ricoxg; 2012-06-12 at 09:27 PM. |
