reaver landing gear

Check this footage: 0:51:30 0:56:33 1:08:50
landed reaver looks totally unnatural, like it just deny the laws of physics,
devs just cant be serious with this type of design,
first iteration of reaver where far more pleasing to the eye with its tail pointed down(it make sense for the landing purposes),
i really hope they change it somehow...

It only looks likes like it defies physics. It is actually extraordinarily front heavy. The back is pretty much made of paper.

but what about weather conditions, surface angle etc, this design is just ridicilous

I actually agree with Ainte, it doesn't look right. While the tail of the Reaver is indeed thin, that's not really where the problem lies. If you look closely, the bulk of the reaver actually looks to be behind the cockpit.

This feels a bit more realistic, in my uneducated opinion.

what do you expect from NC engineers
"Do you think we should make this thing stable to land on?"
"Nah, chances are none will make it back for a safe landing so I wouldn't bother"
"Fair enough"

lol

Or...*gasp*...it's an unfinished model.

It's not even E3 footage. I'm fairly sure they just didn't add the skid on the back yet.

I like the way Lorgarn drew it. Just put the landing gear where he put it, and it'll be fine.

It actually reminds me a lot more of the Cobra (dont know the model number) I think its the shape of the cockpit. That actually really draws me to NC

I agree, and it looks like the AH-1W Super Cobra from the side to me.

Ya thats the bugger.
Ya the central part is very alike too, its like those vent thingys have been turned vertical on the Reaver instead of horizontal I love you Reaver/New Cobra

That's because the Reaver is not a chopper. What was vents on a cobra is actually the thrusters on the Reaver. Why? It's a VTOL craft. Gotta have rotating thrusters!

The NC don't have to be oppressed by your "Physics" or "Laws of gravity" these are just made up to keep us docile
