Post Vanu , other kind of Dropship

If something is spelled in a wierd way, dont bother english isnt my birthlanguage, but its amazing to what kind of places you travel just to post suggestion for a game that excites you more then anything.
So~ , to the topic:

As you all know every class got the Galaxy-Dropship.
Not something that I disapprove with but think off it as a tiny bit of wasted potencial.
I aim to join the Vanu and so; already got an idea to change that and give the Vanu's a Heavytransport Aircraft that feels more like THE ALIENFREAKS ARE APPROACHING!!!

Something like the "Indepence Day Ufo" !

And here the gameplay-aspects: Lets call it

The Carrier
Unlike the Galaxydropships the Carrier is more focussed on dominating the air around it, while it brings the 12 players to their destination.
It can fly freely up or down and in all other directions without being slowed down by its own mass for just a second.
* It got 10 guns that can only be used in gunnerseats.
* The pilot can only use a booster besides his ability to fly the Carrier.
* The 'Energy'seat has the ability to activate a shield that surrounds the Carrier and negates incomming damage to 65%.

I know that looks very "flat" right now but im not such a good artist anyway and if the Carrier or something motivated by this, would make it ingame, we know the designers will make it a lot more detailed and nice to look at.

The Carrier can fly as fast as the Dropship, but is a bigger target.
And its uppersite and bottomsite cant switch. Its fixed in a horizontal position all the time. So its probably hard to land.
You need a very good and flat landing zone, or you will damage the Carrier very quickly.

What do you think from it?

Well, it sounds like a Vanu specific Galaxy Gunship.
More importantly though, when it hovers over a TR base, it needs to do this:

I didnt played Planetside 1, so there was a craft like this too.
Guess this would be overpowered if you could just Nuke stuff like that.

But nothing against an Orbital-Energycannon.
Would be fun to watch. In nightgameplay this could lit up the environment too and would be a beautiful sight.

... of doom! xDDD

No please! Not the flying saucer! Vanu surely has more style than that!

Strange I thought I made it clear that this is just an idea to give sudden inspiration for something better.
But it looks like I overestimated the hype-feelings the user of this site carry.
