After seeing some limited fotage of the map in Planetside 2 I started thinking about how you would direct and command troops.
I would like it if they could put in a grid reference system, doesnt have to be anything too intrusive, it could be a column of letters down the left hand side and a line of numbers along the top, as you scroll into the map the grid expands and you can clearly pin point this or that base as being in 'D4' or 'K8'
This would allow for much simpler directing, in stead of trying to vaugly describe one patch of hills from the next you could say, "Team gather at point A6" "Enemy tank at point H1" and so on.
What do you guys think?
