[KDL] has been the premier special operations outfit for the Terran Republic (TR) since the early days of PlanetSide. Founded in 2003 during beta testing by four friends, [KDL] has maintained a tight knit community, even after most members left PlanetSide 1. We are currently on the upswing and we're looking to swell our ranks. We're a fun group and we enjoy playing the game, but when it is time to run ops, you shut the fuck up and get to work. We specialize in shock troop tactics, taking the enemy by surprise and completing the mission every time.
We try to bridge the gap between tactical play and casual players. Many outfits only accept veterans as a means of keeping their force highly skilled and/or implement a training regiment to some extent in order to be highly effective during battle. We as [KDL] accept all players into our ranks and try to facilitate your skill development as a player while in the context of knowing that PlanetSide is a recreational activity and not a second job. Training is and will be provided for PS2, but not required. Many aspects of training are encompassed simply by knowing how to organize and implement strategy which is typically ubiquitous in all FPS games. We understand this concept and excel at it. We encourage all players to contact us in preparation for PS2 for server selection and strategy development.
Requirements:
- Forum registration
- Ventrilo (with working mic) ; will be using in game voip if it turns out to be quality
- Highly active - Especially during the evenings (EST)
- A computer that can run PlanetSide 2 with no issues
- Ages 18+
