1: F.E.A.R.
2: Bioshock 3: Planetside 4: Rome: Total War 5: WoW till BC after that it rapidly fell apart for me. Oh and that's a nice list you have their Guga, just throw this one out could you imagine a Mount & Blade game based on Roman style combat and setting. I'd be in love, I'll make do with Rome: Total War 2

That was a really fun game to, last one to Orion is a rotten Gnolam!
I think there came a point in the game when things took a nasty twist you'd unlocked planet building from asteroid field debris plus having a bunch of the Doom star planet destroyers, no more occupied enemy planets, begin operation CLEAN SWEEP! Suddenly every race wants to be your friend again

Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn Half Life 2 Mass Effect (haven't played 2) Fallout 3 Titan's Quest (Diablo clone I like better than Diablo) Fable Torchlight (Another good Diablo clone, my brother says the new one is exceptional!) Mechwarrior (series, I think my favorite was MW3) Jupiter: The Nexus Incident (I'm a total sucker for space RTS, good graphics, fleet customization, and true Newtonian physics) Myst (who hasn't played that game?) Civilization (series, preferably II, preceded by Colonization way back when) Commander Keen (series, favorite was 5 and 6) Kings Quest (series, I don't recall my favorite) Raptor: Call of the Shadows (best arcade-style scroller ever, possibly excepting the very similar Raiden) Klingon Academy (oh the destruction!) Star Trek: Starfleet Command (series) Star Trek: 25th Anniversary (yes, I was a Star Trek geek) Star Wars: Galaxies (I quit not long after the combat upgrade patch) Star Wars: Jedi Knight (series) KOTOR (duh) X-Wing: Alliance (I missed out on Tie Fighter but loved this sequel) Honestly, I almost want to just expand this list out to most of the games I ever played for more than 10 minutes, but the reality is that it would probably end up being a list of almost every Star Wars and Star Trek game ever made between 1995 and 2005. My brother and I are/were huge sci-fi nerds. It's a shame the quality of sci-fi games has been so poor in the last few years. Or maybe it's just that I don't play all the games I used to, and I'm missing some really good stuff. Regardless, wake me up when someone makes Freespace 3 or Homeworld 3! damn, am i really the only one who knows starcontrol 2, or would put it on a top 5 list?
those of you, who don´t care for top notch graphics, but love a great space epos with a fascinating story and loads of aliens who all have their own personality, try star control 2! it is a kind of action adventure and you can play it for months. it is even free now because it went open source and the fans made an excellent new version for actual operating systems. there also is an alien race in this game that EXACTLY talks like stew! Yes! We do! Goodbye is the *Game*. Hello!! I am only joke. It is funny enough. Do not forget to *enjoy the sauce*!!! check this out: http://sc2.sourceforge.net/
