"We are the Terran Republic, and we are a collective of strength. We consist of an embodiment of free-thinkers and physiological warriors. We believe.... we know.. that the future of mankind relies on the progression of open thought with assessment, acknowledgement, and utilization of new technology in practice - and war."
"Remember us. For when the tides of battle turn, steel to rubble, remember we do this not only for the advancement of civilization as a whole, but for our enemies. Only in death will they see the true faults of holding one's own prospects hostage." The Team Legacy Community is opening it's doors officially to take off in "Planetside 2". Team Legacy has two main focuses: A: Approach large-scale warfare games with a militaristic, tactical, and strategic approach. B: Promote the community and game development through podcasts, guides, and other forms of media. We consist of 4000+ community members and fans and feature main divisions for those wanting to take large-scale combat to the "next level". Our current main focus is Guild Wars 2 where we currently make a strong point of proving that quality does in fact triumph over quantity, and that we believe a player may or may not have a "xx" superior prior gaming history, but what matters is they can coordinate, cooperate, and learn. Members in the Team Legacy community simply enjoy themselves, because they are not judged by their current ranking or standing, but instead their merit, and how well they are able to work together. We strongly believe in a selective recruitment looking for individuals we can "mold" into a effective and cohesive unit. A unit that enjoys laughs, but takes their teamwork and strategy very seriously. What to expect: -We employ a very deep Google Document system that consists of a library of tactics and drawings, we will need members to have a google associated account for access to these and more. Many of these are simply campaign tactics, others are far more complex. -We hold weekly meetings on our Team Speak where we discuss strategy, organization, and new ideas. Team Legacy is famous in gaming communities for our level of organization. We expect our members to want to be on the same level. We hold a variety of intellectual meetings as well, in an effort to keep the status quo of membership at a superior level. Many of these meetings are published as we develop and perfect them. Here are some examples of guides we have published: The Psychology of Winning: Fail Better The 48-Hour Marathon Ultimate Guide to Reducing Latency and many more on our forums, with more to come. -We are very active in media. We expect that all members present themselves in a professional fashion, from recruit to commander. We feature podcasts, multiple websites, and a strong focus on eSports. We are currently on staff with Arenajunkies in the MMO world, and are working with partners in the Planetside community for a possible launch of a new podcast, akin to our successful "Tales of Tyria". http://www.youtube.com/show/talesoftyria -Specific "specializations" for members of the outfit. We do not feel it efficient or necessary to assign specific jobs to members within TL, but instead have "focus points" for members to allow formation of specific tactical needs on a whim. In TL you will be asked to provide a primary and secondary focus (air transport, mobile warfare, etc.) and can be asked to provide your focus at any time. The malleability and capability to adapt to the dynamic battlefield is what gives TL our name. "Legacy's main focus is to provide a haven for philosophers and theorycrafters to have open, intelligent debates and discussions on game-mechanics, playstyles and top-level strategies; then utilize that information to become the best at competitive content. We want to avoid the standard cliques and drama of most large communities, and maintain a helpful, positive, open minded environment where nobody feels as though they can not talk to another member based on social status within the guild or group, and we feel allowing everyone an equal voice is a great way to establish that environment."
