User Interface, Objectives & Mission System Mechanics

People need objectives, and better user interface with objectives and purpose.

The Leadership Cert system should offer a range of Mission System style mechanics.

Squad Leaders:

[Waypoints]
[Displayed as Current Objective]

Perhaps they can select basses as objectives , if you attack the base and win, or defend a base being attacked, you get double points. Maybe more freedom is needed, and the squad leader can even select an area of land to occupy, if you get kills in this zone, u get double xp.

Another great benefit of this is that this show how many squads are currently attacking, and defending bases. The information could be used to create a more informative map. If you are in a person first joining the game, you can see a map that is more alive.

[Galaxy Pilot]
[Temporarily make the Galaxy a Spawn Beacon]

Almost exactly like the other spawn beacon perk but for galaxy, with a longer cool-down to activate. I feel its pretty self explanatory.

[Fix that/Destroy That]
Squad leader can ask that a terminal or power generator be fixed or destroyed for no cost, at will. When destoryed/fixed, the solider will gain xp points.

Platoon Leaders - [Kill Bonuses - Bounties]

[Constant in the bottom left hand corner whiles active]
[Bounty: 10 Mins. 8 Aircraft. Reward: 80 Polymers - 5/8 0:42s]

A Platoon Leader can offer a Squad a bonus. With a separate count down timer on each Squad to prevent favoritism. The bounty can be for Infantry, Tanks, Aircraft or A Spawn Vehicle, rewarding Alloys, Catalysts, Polymers and Auraxium respectively. The first 3 award 10 resources for each vehicle requested destroyed (shared in assists equal to exp). However, 1 specific Sunderer/Galaxy can be requested, with a quickish cool down. If destroyed by the squad; each member in the Squad gets 30 Auraxium and a Cert point. Individual members will also get 1 Aurazium for every kill they got that was spawned on that sunderer/temp galaxy. This may all sound very complex, but to the squad members, it is as simple as 'kill some tanks'.

But the platoon leader must think carefully about his choice due to small addition. He must pay the amount of resources he is offering as a reward. (8 planes would cost 80 Polymers to order, even tho a squad of 10 would actually receive 800) However, if the squad manages to meet the target, they are awards double points to the squad, and refunds the platoon leaders 'deposit'. Call it the Cert: The Salvage.

This means platoon leaders will have to try and estimate how many of something there are in an area. To low, you do not maximize what you could get. Too high and you don't get enough for a refund.

[HQ Chat]
Unlocks access to a chat channel reserved for talking strategy and tactics. Another Cert in this gives access to the war room. A menu that has a shared map you can draw on or edit, and see all active units on the map.

Others. and general use.

[Stationed Base]
You can buy affiliation to up too 4 basses, Doing so gives you a notification if it begins to get attacked, and you get double xp for attacking/deffending this base, if you are squad leader, the whole squad gets this bonus. You also get a Title if you defend the base x number of times.

So, thoughts?
