Sadly Kropter, there is no magical program or settings that will help you maintain 30+ fps in large battles.
I play with a C2D E6750 2.66GHz @ 3GHz with a amd/ati 4890 and my frame rate: 40-45 semi crowded warpgate. 25-30 fps in light/medium sized battles and 15 fps in big ones. Here are are the settings I use from my UserOptions.ini [Rendering] GraphicsQuality=1 TextureQuality=3 ShadowQuality=0 I hate shadows RenderDistance=500.000000 Gamma=0.000000 MaximumFPS=76 UseLod0a=0 VSync=0 OverallQuality=-1 LightingQuality=1 FogShadowsEnable=0 EffectsQuality=1 TerrainQuality=1 FloraQuality=1 ModelQuality=1 ParticleLOD=0 MotionBlur=0 VerticalFOV=59 My personal preference. [Terrain] RenderFlora=Off Grass and weeds won't keep you hidden. |
