Vanu bolt action sniper damage degradation?

This may have been asked before but i can't seem to find a good answer.... Is there damage degradation over distance on the VS bolt action sniper rifles? If so, how bad is it? I'm tired of not knowing if i'm actually hitting someone in the face but they didn't die because of damage degradation over distance or the bullet drop just made me hit the torso.....

It doesnt have damage degradation, but has bullet drop. If you arent 1 shotting people they are either a max, a HA with his shield on, or your hitting their body.

I've also noticed lately that some one-shots are now two-shots. I think some of the infantry cert upgrades are into armor.... just best to make sure it's a headshot so you don't have to worry as much.
