When will the Mac edition be released?

I'm seriously hoping it's soon, and, if anyone has some kind of information, please tell me; I know the dev said it would be on the Mac, but when? I don't want to play on Bootcamp, which I only use on my old Mac; this MacBook Pro 13"inch Laptop is what I always use.

Either way, I love this game, but I'd feel more comfortable knowing it'll be on my Mac soon.

There was mentioning of a Mac version in the Smed "future of PS2" blog post but I doubt (and hope, although I would love to see one) that it is high on the priority list. There are plenty of other issues that require fixing first.

An entry level iMac could run the game (though not on high because of the graphics.) That 2.7Ghz i5 probably could run the game better than my old 3.6Ghz OC'd AMD Phenom II x4 did. Stop pretending to be elitist because you chose a different computer platform than someone else. For all you know, they may need it for university.

Nowadays Macs are overpriced pc's with a different os. Not like back in the days when they had motorola cpus so if you want to play planetside on your "mac" just install windows on a second harddrive/partition and multiboot.
