Usually the official forums are full of garbage, but I loved this one. Watch the video in the OP. Sometimes I think we should approach everything this way, including Planetside. If this guy doesn't inspire you I don't know who can. What an amazing actor...

I prefer centimeters.
But no amount of talk would encourage people to leave spawnroom, even if they had superior numbers but scu is down. It's apparently more fun to kill idiots that run to be killed than to play the actual game. Well, you can't really blame them for taking easy kills. Once I saw just one player camping inside spawn and getting 20-40 kills for free, since people just ran to die. In the end he just left the spawn by redeploying and nobody got a kill out of him. |

I just liked the vid clip =D
It just inspires me to never give up, because you never know when you might just win by inches. That doesn't necessarily mean continually charging out of the spawns. It could mean coming back with Daltons and Zephyrs for those spawn-camping tanks. There have been times in our outfit ops, usually under heavy assault, when I have been forced to give quick motivational speeches about not quitting, and how it just "wasn't our style". It's so funny how some people have actual fear of dying in this game and It's times like those when I wish I was Al Pacino... |
