Anyone buy SC ?

Hey All,

How was this discount SC day compared to the others , did you buy any SC ?

I decided to withhold my money this time around just because I'm wary of what direction this game might take, I have dumped a decent amount of money into the game already (plus membership). No more until I'm sure that the game is headed in a direction that fulfills my hopes for this game.

With that being said, looking at the Nexus Battle Islands I am excited, landscape/terrain look brilliant, beautiful as well.

I added another SC10000 to my balance, which gives me about SC19000, don't know why? It's not as if I can afford it. Damn SOE, you just keep feeding my habit don't you!

Honestly I had money set aside for this, however I to don't like the sudden emergence of a 40% discount, It feels like someone is testing the consumer, if I see a 33% discount sale you'll know this one worked well for them.

I did some math yesterday with the Alpha Pack and two 6 month subs, and with SC I've spent £300 or there about, I'll be taking a step back now.
I enjoy the game I have a sub which will continue to support the dev team, but I will not be Auto buying SC like I used to.

I had a $15 Wal-Mart card with 500SC bonus on it left over from months ago plus I had my sister who lives in a Sales Tax free state get me another for my B-Day. Got 6000SC all told but only spent $15.

Anyway, the 40% off was a 4th of July Promo thing anyway. FOUR being the spin on things here.

I'm sorry but four isn't forty, and with that line of thought wouldn't quadruple SC be more appropriate, I can understand where you're coming from and maybe I am over thinking the whole thing, but I can't get past the idea that it's Consumer testing

I don't think that it is. Of course, one of us will be proven right come SOE Live. My hope is that there will be another SC sale for that.

To be honest being a Vanu player, there is absolutely NO point to buy SC for cosmetic upgrades (since i have all the firepower i need) because 99% of EVERYTHING the VS has from helmets to Armour LOOKS LIKE SHIT !!!! Its like they killed Vanu and made some gay faction wearing the same colours and fake VS weapons that dont even function like VS weapons should..

T-RAY U SUCK ! You suck sooo bad at trying to make VS cool..

Sorry don't mean be to be rude, just stating the obvious.. So yea no point getting SC if ur VS.. If ur NC or TR then they have some cool looking gear..

I was going to buy some even though like many other's I don't realy need it . The 40% offer just turned me away tbh .

Nope. I was going to put down maybe 30 pounds (50 bucks). But the sale was not attractive enough.
If we never get another 2x or 3x I really couldnt care less. SOE just made my decision easier.
