Love Letter to the NC/VS

Dear PlanetSide-Universe.com,


Today on Waterson Amerish there was a fantastic skirmish at Crux Headquarters. As is traditional with our “fearless” comrades among the Terran Republic, once the alert ended, they all but departed whilst the VS and NC quickly overran the continent.

Meanwhile a small group of us stayed put, dispatching four Scythes, one Magrider, two Liberators, two Sunderers and a number of pesky troops. Realising we were outnumbered and outgunned, we defended against the storm until a squad of infiltrators/HA eventually pushed us out, but feel gratified that we were able to hold for so long against pockets of the enemy; a shining red spot in a sea of purple.

As for the developers, my response to you would be that Alerts are continuously becoming a Lucky Dip solution where the lattice does not exist, and you really should think of better ways to make continents much more important.

P.S.: We would graciously like to thank the DVS, VREV, VDRS, HYLT and who knows how many pubbies who tried to capture the outpost for over 2hrs 30mins, only to be driven out by one Dragonwolf and a number of brave Terran Republic soldiers.

your k/d tells me you didnt have much to do with it...it tells me you spawned there and realized the TR zerg was there so you stayed because it was easy for you to hide behind the TR easy mode button.

@ Bimbo, I didnt think k/d has much to do with anything but if you have a look at his killboard you may see that he was in the thick of it all the time.

To stay and fight against those odds is commendable.

Like the others wrote, a player's K/D doesn't equal skill and using the "Your faction is easy mode" argument is just silly. No faction is hard or easy enough when compared to the others to warrant any such lable.
