Yes, yes, yes, a thousand times yes! Looking forward to this. And here's a trailer. Going from this, it seems the bad guys in the game will be... humanity. I'm guessing the humans on earth (along with other species) are going to be fighting these humans out of nowhere. Man, now I'm more psyched then ever. The game doesn't even have a release date yet though. Which means it's most likely going to be another year or two before it's out. For those that don't know, GC games are turn based. Think Civilization in space with logistics (stacking units on top of each other with bigger units taking more space) and sending troops onto planets instead of in cities. Oh, and did I mention star bases which can be specialized in military, economy or research or whatever else? Including death stars (or whatever they're called in game). I shit you not. Edit: Was looking through the page and... Storage Space: 580 GB That's got to be a typo. O.o Edit 2: Nvm. It seems to be the hardware of a poster, not anything to do with the game itself. For a moment there I was wetting myself. Carry on. Last edited by Taramafor; 2013-11-05 at 06:02 PM. |

Getting some more info on the game. Combat wise, it seems it's going to be similar to GC2 but improved slightly with perhaps a little more control. The game maker himself has stated that random events will be in game AND you can set them before a game (so either on/off or no events, some events or lots of events). AND events can be modded, meaning players can ADD events. Which already confirms the game itself will be mod friendly. Oh, and the game will have multiplayer. And I think the game will have hex tiles as opposed to squares (meaning more directions to move in?).
And I found a thread for the game. |
