You would be surprised how many guys on top of the leader boards are script kiddies. How long did it they before they caught him?People don't just to decide to start cheating.He didn't buy them,or he would have been caught a long time ago .They were vip hacks. He either made them ,or got the from a close friend.He got sloppy ,and or lazy and didn't updated them after a patch, then was flagged and caught.Not the first br 100+ and wont be the last.

I'm speechless as well. Pella was one of the guys I respected. If he truly was pinged for hacking I'm going to have to redefine who I consider a top dog on Connery and PS2 in general.

Yea, memory is hazy but I think it was.

And I saw your hackappella comment on a different thread. To be honest I've never ever taken an accusation seriously, unless I've seen proof myself. It's easy to accuse or even misread a game glitch as something sinister.

Fair point, anecdotal to one person is first hand experience to one other, he was thick as thieves with the likes of Ironmole though, who was probably the more blatant of hackers/exploiters in PS1 and had no problem whatsoever in taking advantage of anything that guy did in game for his team's benefit.
