I'm not looking forward to a bifurcate player base and a bifurcate development program. It's dumb. It's the biggest fuckup since BFR's.

I’m still waiting, but as an avid Twitter follower of as many devs that are working on PS2 for PS4, I did see some kind of improvement.
1. This picture was posted on Twitter of the UI interface on PS4. It doesn’t show much but it’s a start and its something. It does lend some insight on the multiple button restrictions they have to work with. The question I have is what faction would this character belong to?? Clearly that’s not NC blue! The characters at the bottom of the picture indicate X=Play, O=Back, Square=keybindings, Triangle=Logout. The character to the right at the bottom shows the icon for one of the thumbsticks moving left and right to swap between characters. (On that note, could someone reply as to what and how Keybinds work for PS2 please) 2. The second was a very short 15 second video clip of the character change process. So if you wanted to change from an Infiltrator to L.A, etc. The screens scrolled from left to right for each character. What I didn’t see was the ability to select the different load outs for each character. I must say, that I am surprised the PC interface could not be emulated on the PS4 in exactly the same way? I would have thought it could be. Clearly I am no expert and its now becoming obvious to me that the PS2 on PS4 UI is going to look COMPLETELY different to the PC version. The twitter chatter seems to indicate that SOE Live could be the next big milestone/announcement for the progress of PS2 on PS4. I hope so, cause im chomping at the bit play this!! We got some good info. Well at least something more than screenshots and Vines.
Dissapointed with no Beta date, but hey, im sure they are doing everything they can to ensure we are getting the best possible game available. I guess its the secrecy around releasing decent information thats annoying. PC info (updates, patches etc) is so forthcoming, but its all hush hush about PS4 news.... |

Off topic but the most interesting thing I heard during the entire several hours of streaming was about them working on a WWII based game. Smed said they were working on it then stopped to start on H1Z1 but would be going back to it at some point. He was kinda cryptic about what exactly type of game it is but if someone could pull off a modern day WWII Online it would be beyond epic.
