What has Daybreak done up to now ?

Hello,

I played planetside a lot from release date to about the time where daybreak studio took over.

Having stopped following the patch sets since then, could someone do me a resume of what happened ?

I stopped playing around when they added the valkyrie, has there been any other significant thing done to the game ever since ?

Well:
they've added drawing on the map for platoon leaders
there's been a partial update of a few bases on th north of Indar
they're working on base building which seems to be a really big update


oh and they've just cancelled EQ Next - which they said wasn't turning out to be a fun game, it happens I suppose.

What kind of change are they giving to the bases ? Adding capture mechanics ?

any op new guns waiting to be nerfed ?

There hasn't been much talk of a continent yet, I think they are focusing on making a polished game right now (finally). But I just recently returned as well so not too sure.
you can check out the bases on the test server, they are trying to make them a little more friendly to infantry play.
