Because this thread came up on google when searching for network issues I wanted to include some information that other searching people might find useful.
My experience is Planetside 2 hates the 5ghz network band, and 2.4ghz is only marginally better, but it is better. Wired connection is best and if you dont have the ability to run an Ethernet cable look into powerline adapters. They work great when you are in the same house, but dont work at all if you are in a guest house with a separate breaker panel, so be sure of that.
