well i was wondering if there is going to be some safe guard against your own teammates jacking a vehicle when your waiting for it ... i was thinking this may be a problem since u have to mount all your vehicles

As the devs have stated, you can set your vehicle to self-only mode, meaning that someone would have to hack it to take it. That is their system for anti-theft.

Thats a MAJOR ASS problem in BF1942. Your vehicle takes some dammage, you get out for repairs, turn around to see if any enemies are in the vicinity, turn back around to repair your vehicle and it's already taking off over the horizon with some frigin uber nOOb "I sni4perd yruo asS!!!!!!!11" idiot.

Theres not a vehicle hardcap in PS either... no reason to steal a vehicle or wait for one..

can just spawn one yourself.. course some jerk could capture it in the field if you had set everyone to be able to use it.

Could you set it so only members in your outfit could pilot it?

all vehicles have a safe guard. you can set them to "locked". both for the cockpit and the trunk.

There's a setting for empire, outfit, squad, and self only access for both trunk and passenger seats.
