*edit* you vets knew this was going to happen. When you have the ability to receive extra money from a beta ie: buying PS 1 to get into PS 2 early, SOE will not give that up.

just look around, every game in beta has an option to buy into it

i bought a key and it didn't work so i spend on station cash. is there's anyway i can buy it from other website? for EU* tho.

do i buy the SOE all game pass (20 bucks) or the regular SOE PS 1 pass for 14.99?

Standard PS1 pass should be fine.

Yeah, its becoming fairly common nowadays.

I do understand why its done too, to pay for initial Data-Center/Server hardware and setup costs and reduce Launch Day problems due to capacity.

I'm a PS1 Vet but not a hardcore fan [was always a Casual playing with inconsistent playtimes] nor a subscriber.
(I have little interest in subbing even for Beta access - PS1 always has and still does CTD numerous times a day - which was normal for game made back then and honestly something I don't miss from those days)

I do hope that the Hardcore PS1 Vets get priority (determined by how long they have subbed to PS1 and/or playtime in PS1). They largely have kept the game alive and deserve first review/access of PS2.

{Only thing I'd ask people who do get in is: Request that Outfit tags be 'toggleable' - ie. turned off because as a Casual I rarely played with an Outfit I was in and didn't want to join one even if they were good for/to casuals because the Tags would make me a higher value target and more subject chat/whisper smack-talk/harrassment while I was playing 'solo' which was also most of the time.}

I just CBA to find my PS1 discs and patch it.

Oh and I should expect a key in my email still? Not just have it turned on in my Sony Station account game info' bit thing.

Yes yes, I'm a shameless person buying into beta. But I did sub' from 03-07 as well. So blah!
