Indeed it would
BTW I just finished RahXephon, and never have I seen such a touching series. Especially episode 19 where something very ironic and sad happens. On the lighter side though, I'm was watching some Azumanga Daioh, while I was downloading the last episode to RahXephon. It's been awhile since I have laughed so hard. Azumanga Daioh is the perfect example of what I meant earlier by requiring an anime humor to laugh at the stuff in that. It's up to par with Excel Saga in humor. Aluminum Studios did just a little review on it but there's a pretty funny video clip you can download and see what I mean about the ludicrously warped sense of humor this series requires you to have to enjoy it :P Go Here and hit ctrl+f, type in azumanga in your find box and start searching until you come across the little section he has (you'll notice because it has a picture by it along with 2 links, one a picture, the other this clip I mentioned... If you at least snicker at this video, I highly suggest you look into this series because you will most likely be falling out of your chair laughing. *edit* Thought I'd add this little quote from Aluminum Studios as well...
I've been searching for a way to express why I hate dubs, that pretty much sums it up

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ weird anyways, i downloaded that lil clip and that was just weird. edit becuase kaikou edited: its a shame i cant read quickly at all..... i mean i read very very slow. dubbing is as long as the voices arent annoying and there is still emotion there. but sadly most dubbing is done poorly..... i wish i knew japanese

i hate dubs to, but better than sub 4 me, not cause i read slow(450 WPM which is 2.5 times as fast as the averege adult WPM of 200) but cause you have to take ur eyes off the action to know what ppl are saying, so until i learn japanese (which is going to be in about a year cause i start in the fall) stuck w/ dub, some companies do well w/ dubs, ADV is usually good, they did a great job w/ Evangelion and amanda winn lee is a very good translation director, just listen to the audio commentary on the death and rebirth, at the begining w/ 5-6 conversations going on in the background all at once, also their audio commentary are funny instead of just info about the movie and how hard this was or how boring this was, they crack jokes all the way through
edit, almost the same as kaikou, cept i need to learn syntax then i could speak basic japanese, probably almost as much as i know of spanish, and i took that as a class (no japanese

I always watch with subs, much better abnd you get the real feeling, the maker of the anime picked those voices for a reason....
I am also starting to understand some Japanese now and you pick up on easy things like, hello, goodbye, brother, sister, etc Its cool...I don't have the time for lessons right now tho but I am interested. |

Anime forums with me as mod, indeed, that would be very Logical
Anyway, I know a very limited amount of japanese, several common words, etc but nothing close to enough to hold on a conversation. I do plan on learning it withen the next year or so though, then German, then touch up on my spanish... yep, that would work. *2 of the best words ever: B4k4 *megatokyo version of Baka* and Nani *just sounds cool *) dub-sub... well I know that there are a few very well done dubs (I actually like the Steel Angel dub better than the Sub) but for the most part, I must agree that the greater majority of dubs are not anywhere as good as the subs.
