5 States have accepted Medicinal Marijuana and now use it under very high supervision. 6 more states are in the process of making Medicinal Marijuana legal....including NY state where i live.

now you tell me...if 5 states have it legal, and 6 are in the process, then how can it be dangerous?

Alcohol and Tobacco are allowed in all 50 states for non-medical purposes. Morphine (among other drugs) is allowed for medical purposes.

Drugs suck. Why do you need an artificial substance to get you "high?" Aren't there enough things in life that can give you a natural high?

And the reason they are legalizing pot is because everyone uses it. They may just as well do it, since there's no way they can stop someone.

I must commend PSU's majority. I figured this thread would be full of potheads, but I gladly see that's not the case.

On that note; everyone should try LSD atleast once. I had a friend of mine convinced he was an Orange, he was all like "DON'T PEEEEEEL ME!" and I'm like "Dude. Stop freaking out". He wouldn't stop freaking out, so my other friend (in his infinite acid induced wisdom) says "Lets put him in the 'tomorrow box' man". "Yeah, the tomorrow box!" I replied. Then I'm all like "Brent, you need to get in the tomorrow box, 'cause we can't deal with you today". Brent spent the rest of the night crying in the closet thinking he was an Orange. Good times. GOOOD TIMES.

Anything can be taken to an abuse level. LSD and marijuana are worlds apart in psychoactivity. LSD should only be taken in a controlled, SUPPORTIVE environment. Little kids and teenagers/immature adults shouldn't mess with any of it to excess. There's a very good reason LSD is illegal, and you just related the poster-child story. It's not so much the drug itself, but the idiots that use it recklessly.

LOL! LSD should not be taken period. There are no medical uses for it, and it can kill.

And if my friend came to me high on LSD, I'd turn his ass into the cops, not "support" him.

well first off, Marijuana is not an artificial substance.

Second, they are legalizing it because it is a Medicinal herb...thus it has Medicinal properties....

why would the American Medical Association be one of the first groups to argue against Marijuana becoming illegal?

why? Because it helps people.
