looks like they are doing something.. when i click the launchpad it says updating but then goes back to the maintenance screen...

If this is down through the end of the month (which wouldn't be surprising if their security was as bad as it appears) then don't expect updates that often. Once a week would be about right.

i think a big problem is, there isnt alot in planetside that can really be given away thats in game. they could try and give free certs, or access to the lightsabers, but theres not much else in PS.
