I checked my station account and while my e-mail is written there, it says it's not verified, and I can't get it verified without remembering my secret answer, which I can't seem to get right, and the "Forgotten your secret answer/question?" link is broken.

Is my e-mail not being verified a problem in terms of beta call-ups? How am I supposed to get this sorted

Did we enter our email address specifically when signing up ( can't remember...)

I think I saw a few others having the same problem earlier in the thread.

You can open a support ticket and have them change the secret question/answer.

You will have to know what card you used and the billing address in order to identify yourself though. if you have access to your account you can look in your payment history to find a card.

I don't know, pimples don't tend to stay for long and even if they do they don't normally interfere with your job, unless you're a model or something.

Generally, what type of requirements is a game developer looking for in terms of potential beta players. Would they want individuals with a high spec computer, a certain geographic location, etc?

Generally, they want testers with a variety of system specs. They will give high priority for people with top-tier systems (dual graphics, quad cores, high resolutions, elite sound cards) and for people with low-end systems with components 4-5 years ago and maybe even Dells. Beyond specs, they will probably want to select region-specific players at first but I am not sure about that.

Above all that, the first thing SOE will look at is whether or not you have a PS1 active subscription.

do we have any confirmation of this?, just saying surely they will give preference (if any) to those with most game time logged, i dont have a current subscription, but ive been in on and off since 2005 usually in 6 month bursts.
ofcourse if they do prefer active subs, thats something we kinda need to know, as im sure everyone will sign back up tomorrow if thats the case.

I'm pretty sure it's anyone that's just had some game time on their station account.
