Well people will look at this and see that VS are the assassin class and pick them. Only to find out all 3 factions have cloaking ability.

Also in my previous post, obvious aimbot is obvious.

Minor observations about the trailer:
1. More blood than in all 9 years of Planetside combined
2. Drop pods "Archangels in transit" I like the sound of that
3. The VS logo on the knife

Also, I find it interesting how people's views of the trailer are influenced SOOO much by their empire loyalties. I think it goes to show how deep those loyalties run.

The trailer was fast paced, exciting, and beautiful. Of course it doesn't go into detail about what kind of game it is, but no cinematic trailer does that. It's a cinematic. It's an attention grabber, and it's going to be groping all kinds of attention.

I find it funny how people complain that this is a bad trailer since it doesn't represent the game or whatever...

Hello? The goal of that trailer is not to instruct how the game work... but to excite the crowd which THEN go see for information about said game, not the opposite.

Aka the hype train.

Why would people look for a gameplay video? That's mostly boring from a stranger standpoint and people that already know the game ALREADY saw gameplay vids so there is nothing to gain from that.

That was incredibly impressive, considering how much marketing the first game got.

I just really wish the trailer had ended with him respawning. Drive home the whole war is hell thing by showing him doing it all over again.

I just found out SOE is taking the cast of The Expendables 2 putting them in a CGI Brokeback Mountain 2 and only given it to fans of the Terran Republic to further break our hearts lol.

Speaking of that, I do find it funny how the dialogue does make it sound like he only has the 1 life to give, so better give it all. Even though he just respawns at the nearest deployed Gal. lol

In my experience, most trailers, especially the first official one, is not going to show gameplay, but rather a kickass cinematic. Thats pretty standard. I would write off people that are complaining as new to games in general...or simple in the head.

If you want gameplay, watch the E3 and other live streams, etc.
