And it *should* be prevented. There were no jihad jeeps in PS1, just people fighting like mad to the death -- and gameplay was much much better for it. This should be about battle, not sploiting. You can bet your ass that this new generation of console kiddies will turn their air vehicles into self-guided cruise missiles as often as they can until their empire runs out of resources, then log off in boredom. they can burn their credits all day long to minimal effect. I do think Enter/Exit delays would be a boon however, but we're already planning on performing high speed LAOS drops (low altitude, overshield [heavy assault ability]). I dunno I think it would be good if you could only enter/exit air vehicles at hover altitude (~10ft off the ground or less, and under 5-10MPH speed) unless there is a troop drop (lib gunner/galaxy passengers) or ejector seat (pilots) option (obv exit only). Land vehicles could be exited at any time, but still having a delay would improve things. nothing huge, just enough |

And the second point. I don't want galaxies to beable to be landed 10 metres away from an enemy base, galaxies are there to stop you from having to spawn at a far away base. And every square inch has been designed for combat, so why would we take away the open areas from being fought on? And i want to see epic couple hundred metre charges towards a big base. D-day We must fight for every grain of sand Last edited by Toppopia; 2012-08-09 at 07:05 PM. |
