No. It could very well be this month, but then again there is an equal chance that it won't be. It's not obvious in the slightest to anyone so stop saying otherwise.

When did they even say that anyone was getting into any beta in march? I didn't see that anywhere. Maybe I missed it. Can you please link me to the document where someone in SOE said beta this march? Appreciated.

A simple question will get simple replies.

You are simply putting a downer on our hopeful Planetside future, we realise we may not get any more news for the rest of the month but we are holding on to the tiny morsels of information we have obtained with all the hope we can muster!

All we have heard from SOE is that they have a big launch coming in Q1 / Q2 or more specifically the month of March, we are barely a third of the way through the month and you are already saying you feel mislead. I just think you've jumped the gun a bit.

What the heck is SOE marketing team doing? Aiming for a Q1/Q2 release yet Planetside have not received a proper announcement. Just random confirmation in a random interview. Are they solely relying on the word of mouth?

This thread is very dynamic. Next month it can be "It's April".

I wouldn't mind seeing early alpha videos like they did with the first Planetside. At least that would put some minds at ease that the game is really being developed.

But really all I want to see is something Vanu so I can sleep easy knowing I don't have to join the NC or TR.

They need to keep updates of all kinds coming from now until release to keep morale high. It doesn't have to be much, our expectations are really low right now. We are still asking for pictures... that is softball stuff in the bigger scheme of game advertising and hype. The real juicy stuff are things like interviews, tech trailers, action / story trailers, non-scripted in game video, hitting the majors sites like Gametrailers, Kotaku, Hard News (Skrewattack.com) and all of the sites that do general MMO news etc. Until we get to that point we have to assume they mean to delay the launch.... or they are the worst advertisers in the biz.

I just recently rediscovered this game, and have to admit this lack of information is killing me. I loved playing this game. To the extent that if given a release date, i'll be computer shopping the next day. I can't wait to see what they've got planned.
