Keep in mind large beta waves take a long time to send the e-mails.

It's more of a guideline than anything. People are more than free to do it if they want, I just don't advise it.

I don't find it unfair at all. If this was Beta, you might have a point. But it isn't. This is the Tech Test. But why would they solely want feedback from one small subset of their potential audience for the game? If it was all PS1 vets, PS2 would simply be a PS1 clone (which I'm sure they would love... but PS1 vets are not the entire target audience. In fact, they are a very small fraction of it).

It's just a tech test. If anything, people who get into the tech can't even really play unless the test session is running.

In a week or less, we'll start getting in beta. Chill out, take a smoke, have some time off, etc... Save some frustration for Beta invites !

I was wondering if they are going to do this, move the tech test people right into Beta. It would be a slap in the face to everyone who signed up for beta.

Hoping it'll be a week or less but there's no set time on the tech test. More invites going out makes me believe it's going well, though.

Why would it be a slap in the face? Everyone in the tech test HAD to have signed up for beta to begin with

There are people in the tech test that don't even have Beta keys registered yet and Beta is where we take the priority into account so. Now there would be people in Beta that have low priority before the high priority people who were said to be in Beta first.
