i know bfbc2 was $89 retail in australia pre order but $49 on steam ozgameshop is pretty cheap but its not australian - if you look them up they are from uk (nothing wrong with that just stating its not an australian shop) nobody rips off australians more than australian retail prices never buy a game from a shop in australia - NEVER |

This basically depends on your Country. Mostly, EU pays 50€ for a game they could order for 40€ on a disk. The Sales are the best point to buy products, "normal" bought products are usually 10€ more expansive than going to shop and get a physical disk...
