No, that just means you have entered a key. Ps vets who haven't entered a key are "inactive."

I have a quick paranoid parrot question:
I THINK I have located my old Planetside account, but it hasnt got any payment history on it. I know that it is associated with Planetside though, since I have 45 free days of game time on it. The activation date on the planetside tab is July, 2006. Does that mean that this account had a planetside subscription previous to the 45 free game days? And, to the point, does this mean that I am eligible as a veteran? SOE must have deleted all of the old payment history or something if that is the case. Didn't see this question asked before, and I would love it if anyone has a solid answer. I just want to be a veteran, but all of my accounts were made when I was like under 15 haha. |

I found out that I had only played with a free subscription on that particular account and thusly would not be eligible for beta so I got myself a twitter key.

Let us hope. My account is marked as Active. This may just be a way of showing us the code we put in worked and that we get something for it. Everyone who input a Twitter/Fb code did your PS2 account get marked as active?

I would think that means that we are ahead of the ones with no key, not in the same pool.
I can understand that they take the Old Vets ahead of the Twitter/FB people. But not the Magazine ones, sure they paid and all that, but think about how many copies that were sold. If even half of those are redeemed it will push the chances to get in for the rest down significantly. Last edited by BloodRedSkyes; 2012-06-12 at 02:58 PM. |

Oh that is wrong? What is the priority order then between vets, pcgamer, and twitter/fb?
I payed for a copy of PCgamer (hunted it down long after it left shelves) to get a key, and I will happily subscribe to ps1 if it puts me at higher priority than the pcgamer key I have today. My understanding was that all 3 shared an equal pool, and that closed beta would infact be a lot of people. |

if they are not ready then so be it, i want to play the game as badly as anyone, but honestly, i realize that i am there to TEST the game and help in development by doing so.
if they started now and were not ready than every 20 mins or so a new patch comes out and kicks us all off while it updates, or the game crashes every time "guy with X camo" crosses your screen, not much point in us being there, in fact we would probably slow down the process, further delaying the game for everyone else. i dont have any quotes or anything, but i bet "priority access" is all one pool. think about it this way, say they want 2000, people playing at a given time, 1/2 the invites probably go out unnoticed, even more go out to ppl who are busy, or cannot join in for some reason. its not like they will send out 50 invites! they will be sending tons of invites (who knows, maybie tens of thousands) that way the server is populated to the level that they want it at, for the hours they need!
