so after watching this a few times(LOL) I have noticed a few things.
when the mossies fly over the base at the beginning I noticed a square hole in the roof of the structure, are we going to be climbing ladders in PS2? I don't have a problem with ladders but it give attackers from above an advantage being able to drop in like that instead of hacking doors and using stairs ala PS1 there are quite a few structures in and around the outside of the CY,the one tower/one base layout is finally dead(YAY) it will make for a shitload more CQB with all the buildings to clear, creates added complexity to clearing and hacking bases,it may take whole platoons just to keep the CY buildings under control of even a lightly defended base, let alone whatever else that needs to be hacked/defended,will be a nice change up from the hack and squat method we have been doing for the last 8 years. the mining(?) site looks cool,I did notice that the span from the rock wall to the center is damaged and you would have to jump it to get across, the question now is are my scat maxes going to be able to jump that gap? overall this shit looks great, would be nice if we could get a pristine HD copy,I promise to spam it on the clan twitter all friggin weekend @hostilism |

I agree with you that PS2 does indeed look much better and more colorful than BF3, but you are showing fanboyism if you think that BF3 textures are crappy. They are amazing, the lens flare is realistic, and the "fake" effects? Well, it's a game. Of course they're fake. There's a reason you need a very high end video card to max out the game. It's pretty. You're just nitpicking if you honestly look to pick out the "repetitive" tiled textures. I haven't heard anyone complain up until now.

I think that's exactly what he meant to say.
Also (and this may not be the final thing), no names above enemies! Some of the night shots look a little confusing though, because TR being TR, you would expect the engines to be glowing red, too (not unlike modern turbojets) and the blue exhaust note reserved for the scythe. (In general, I'd expect exhaust colors for the aircraft to be bright orange for TR, yellow/green for NC, and teal for VS, and all the common pool aircraft to have a yellow exhaust, somewhere between the TR and NC colors.) Then again, who's to say that's not customized?

Nope, I've worked many places but not at Red5.
If you'd like to know more, please send me questions - since this thread is about the latest game footage ... |
