Well they could also do what StarWars The Old Republic did which was let Guilds be posted and also recruit on the home page! That way if your not a face book user you can tell your friends to check out the home page and send a request to join your guild via PlanetSide 2 home page!

The app is rather non-fucntional to an extent at the moment, though it's not SOE's fault - over 90% of all facebook apps don't work anyway, because the way the company manages its connections to other networks is shit.

I bet the secret missions will be retardedly hard to do based on how many people will have completed all the other missions. If its too many they'll just ask you to get all 50 outfit members to buy 500 store credits or something stupid. Recruit 2000 facebook friends. Visit SOE at 3 conventions and get a key...

The only thing my friends saw are the share 12 beta invites and 50 recruit invites. Those 12 beta invites i send to gamers anyway, they wont care, some were even happy i shared beta signups are open. Those 50 will just get an app spam request of which i get millions a day, so karma bitches. |

I've relayed our technical problems with the app to the people who make it; they're going to contact SOE and see if they can fix the sharing issues.
For people who still cannot link their SOE account to facebook should contact the app-creators on their facebook page. |

Anyway, not sure I trust Facebook that much at the moment anyway - after all, pretty sure I told Netflix it couldn't post for me, and next thing I know, people are commenting how much they enjoyed the same programmes as I was watching too.... Honestly, social media is great when used for what you want to use it for, but its f***ing annoying when it's the one that's using you as a recommendation engine for products to your friends without particular consent. (Especially when you're not actually recommending stuff, you're trying it out and will probably not stay beyond the free trial). |
