Forgot to highlight all my Gallente stuff, noob.
The problem with Carriers right now is they're seriously way too small. They look cool as hell but are about 1/4 the size they should be (except for the Amarr one). I've been told it's a model size bug. It's pretty retarded and embarassing. I can hold 3 battlecruisers but I'm not much bigger than one myself? 75,000 m^3 of drone bay, which is enough to hold squadrons of fighters or many thousands of smaller drones, as well as 5,000 m^3 (soon to be 10,000 m^3) of modules, amounting to thousands of ship-fittable items... the ship costs nearly 10x the cost of a battleship, takes over a year to train, and yet I'm actually smaller than the average battleship? Kinda sucks. Once they're up around the size of a dreadnaught like they should be, I'll be happy. |

But you know what they say - size isn't everything. Seems like the Titan and the Carrier should be swapped.

Meh, I don't think the normal carriers are supposed to be huge.
Bigger than a battleship, yes and they are bigger. But not dread sized, or even that close. (unless it's bugged ingame, I think the size chart puts the carriers at a perfect size, I haven't really paid attention to any in game, the caldari is a bit small, but caldari ships have always been squat it's only smaller than the Apoc. Honestly the ship PWNs things, do you realy need you e-penis to be physicaly larger?) Acctualy I think they keep the size the same, and allow them to use jump gates, in addition to the jump drive. To add a really cool versatility element. Motherships however need to be way bigger. like 1/2 titan size or more.

That's definately not right Rob. The reason I complain is that it just FEELS ridiculous to fly around other non-capital craft. The ship rumbles like a thunderstorm when I kick in the engines, takes the better part of a minute to turn around... but is smaller than an Apoc... Thats the problem... no one is sure what they're supposed to do. At the moment they are just useless, and unless some serious revisions are made to game mechanics thats how they will remain. Last edited by Infernus; 2006-06-05 at 04:15 PM. |

You asked how they're broken. And they're broken in that they're useless. That makes perfect sense. If you mean it doesn't make any sense that the Devs would completely ruin every old-EVE player's hopes and dreams by destroying the original titan class. Then you're right, that doesn't make much sense. |
