whether anyone cares or not, i consider this a dissappointment. Graphic novel company viz has the rights to the kenshin manga. this following article tells:

Viz, LLC has acquired the rights to Nobuhiro Watsuki's samurai manga series Rurouni Kenshin. The Cartoon Network has been running the anime version of Rurouni Kenshin during its daily Toonami block, where despite considerable censorship of the bloody samurai saga, it has been attracting a lot of attention (see "Cartoon Network Ratings Up"). The anime series is based on Watsuki's manga, which started running in the Japanese Shonen Jump in 1994. With its premier spot on TV, Rurouni Kenshin has tremendous potential. Media Blasters, which produces the English language version of the anime series, has reported a definite bump in sales thanks to the Cartoon Network exposure.


So far Viz is playing it cool as to whether or not the Rurouni Kenshin manga will appear in the American version of Shonen Jump or not, but given the fact that Shueisha, the manga's Japanese publisher, is Viz's partner in the American Shonen Jump, it appears likely that Ruroni Kenshin will join the Jump lineup in the near future, especially considering so many other Jump titles have ties to anime series on American TV (see "Shonen Jump Line Tied To Cartoon Network")."

but i find the dissappointment in that tokyopop isnt going to do it. reading right to left is easier for me

reading right to left dosnt disrupt the format, if they reverse it it sometimes looks wrong

onegai teacher is a good anime (I've got both the DVDs that are out so far and all the manga)

It's a pretty cool series in general but I think the ending was somewhat weak (the manga version anyway) it might be a bit better animated...

*concurs with Kaikou and WickedDeus* onegai teacher is nice. sort of a comedy/drama thing. seems like you're in an action oriented anime stint right now, NightWalker, so it might not interest you...

Action mixed with comedy (like Trigun and RK) is what I usually like, but I also like anime thats jsut comedy with drama and stuff like that...

Ok, here is my "to doiwnload list" at the moment:

Berserk - need to know how many episodes it has
GTO - (read above)
Onegai Teacher - (read Berserk Descrition thingie)
Gundam Seed - (read Berserk Descrition thingie)
Macross Zero - (read Berserk Descrition thingie)

I will do that in order...at the moment I am jsut gettign the last 3 episodes fo Trigun (sniff Wolfwood dies....damnit) and a few mroe RK ones that I noticed I was missing....

I am also thinking of gettign Daiguard, I saw that on a Portuguese anime channel, was pretty cool

Onegai Teacher has 12 I think,

Gundam Seed has 38-39 so far.....their still coming out.

Macross Zero has 2 out so far out of a total of 5. Its a special OVA series and it will be a few months before 3 gets here from what I understand.

Remember to get Naturo and Chobits.

Also do you guys use irc? Or only stuff like bittorrent and dc?

Oh BTW I am downloading all 13 Onegai Teacher episodes at once, I should have them all by tomorrow

Can only find one episode of Macross Zero so I will leave that for now

Well if you use it to chat is not much harder to file share. Its all in DCC options, you just got to open it up.

Edit: Which bittorrent search are you using to find anime?

I dunno now, I unistalled bit torrent a month or so ago and now recently reinstalled it but forgot the good sites to d/l anime from, been looking around but ain't finding any lol
