The VS theme sounds kind of retro electronic music to me.

Terran republic sounds like epic music

NC sounds like metal,rock,country or something.

I like TR and VS best.

i can see these tracks bring back memories of the epic battles we will be fighting in PS2, just as the ps1 soundtracks do now. Music has such a big impact during those moments.

Looking forward to those battles

NC music definitely reminds me of the terran in SC2. Perhaps it was used as a reference. higby might have had some influence in that. He likes his starcraft no?
I find it a little too redneck/rough for NC personally. I like the thememusic, although it could stay closer to the ps1 version imo. @0.40 in the theme the iconic guitar suddenmly stops

The travelmusic is also great. Cant wait too see what the final version is like.

While I really like the TR music, I feel some of the tracks require a stronger sense of heroism and power.

Something like this song around 45 seconds in and again around 2:35 or so:

Well if there was ever a sign they've got it spot on, that's it. You've got Sifer on the last page saying they need to slow it down and you claiming it's too slow.

VS reminded me a lot of Bruce Faulconer's Dragonball Z soundtrack. Lots of similar instrumental sounds and phrases.

NC does sound similar to Terran from Starcraft.

So far I like TR the best it actually make me feel like I am fighting a battle and psyches me up.

The NC as many people say SC Terran.

And Vanu make me feel like I am in some techno club.. it's good.. but not really battle fit.

All the NC tracks need a major facelift. They aren't comparable to the TR or VS in quality

I'm really not hearing the similarities besides some of the open chord stuff. I'm really digging the funk/ballsy bass tone on the NC Battle 2 though.

I feel bad saying it but I'm a bit underwhelmed as well. Even forgiving the demo style production, I feel like a few of the tracks are very uninspired. The VS main theme for example is lacking a strong melody and seems to lack atmosphere. I do think the NC tracks will sound much better with real instruments in a good mix and I like how they've taken a big chance with the rock/country theme.

Its probably something they will monetise, spend money to not have the NC music playing

I didnt think it was that bad, but nothing like as good as what we had in PS1.

The VS stuff soudned pretty good, the TR vid wasnt working.
