We take ourselves no more seriously than any other outfit that wants to be organised and wants to win. Possibly a little less seriously but with similar results.

I joined The Black Widow Company 8 years ago (8 years and 4 days to be exact) and frankly there is no gaming community like them.

If you're looking for an outfit in Planetside 2 that is the very personification of an elite, disciplined, well oiled Barney and Smurf ass kicking machine then look no further than the BWC. If you're looking for a group of guys that are fun as hell to joke around with but can flip from kidding to killing in the time it takes to say "Enemy Contact" then look no further than BWC. And If you're looking for a place where seasoned FPS and planetside vets will help you improve your abilities as a player, teach invaluable skills that will save you from respawning every goddamn day on the battlefield and offer you the opportunity to learn how to lead with best of the best then...well, you get the picture.

Never really caught onto PS when it was new, kinda regret it now. Actually the first time I was in game for more than about 30 minutes at a time was in that Op that UFN made his vid from. Clueless about some of the mechanics, but it was fun as hell seeing how BWC operates in PS.

Gonna be there for PS2 this time, looks incredible...even moreso 'cause I'm BWC now and we'll be kicking ass and chewing bubble gum.

Black Widow Company, Sith. All of our active players, however, are migrating to AOD and we are reducing the SWTOR chapter to strictly casual solo.

Thom Terrazas: I had just joined the PlanetSide team around 2006 or 2007. There was a Fan Faire that was coming up very quickly and we were looking to do something special with our PlanetSide attendees. Someone suggested laser tag and we were all up for it.

A bus picked us up from the hotel and drove us out to the laser tag "building", allowing us to swap stories and lies to and from. We played about five rounds of laser tag with the players and friends of PlanetSide, sweating all over the place. I never had more fun at a Fan Faire event than that one. I got handed over a t-shirt from the Black Widow Company Outfit and a black eye from an overzealous fan. I think he was out of ammo and was trying to stab me.

Thought i might have come across you all in warzones, i've been on Jung Ma since launch on Republic side. I tended to play a lot of pvp evenings/late nights with Crimson Elite.

I like that you all are looking forward to Mechwarrior Online as well as PS2. Might have to see if I can get me and my buddies (they are TR lifers from PS, i'm new to the whole PS side of things) I always roll with to sign up with you guys.

I joined BWC about six years ago. I was 15 at the time, if I remember correctly, and my experience with this outfit has altered not just the way I approach games, but the way I approach everything else in my life. I attribute a lot of my development as a person since then to BWC. It literally changed my life. I'll roll with these guys for as long as they'll have me. And if they someday won't? I'll probably just stick to single-player games, because it wouldn't be the same without them.
