I didnt think it was that bad, but nothing like as good as what we had in PS1.

The VS stuff soudned pretty good, the TR vid wasnt working.

It's not too bad, but if there was no option to change it it will be turned off lol; the other two are bad ass.

I don't see what people's issue is with the NC music. I think it's awesome.

Ever played the terrans in SC2? Badass sounding stuff.

EDIT: I hope they have in-game radios so I can blare the NC music out of my vanguard while I huck tankshells at barneys and elmos.

Dude, even if I want heroic NC music too, having that roughneck sound would be SO worth it if I can sound it off in a Sunderer while ramming a Prowler through a Magrider!

What a well thought out thread and replies. I have no doubt with this kind of involved and intelligent community this game will be epic.

But, like many of you the music is the key. Without great music an FPS can not be a success. Because, like many of you, I play with my music at full volume and all other sounds at zero. Music quality is the single most important aspect of an FPS.

See this thread and petition here. Please join the masses by raising our collective voice demanding that all time and resources within the control of the dev's be spent on the single most important element of all. The music man.

Lots people play with Music off and environment effect on high. This helps with situational awareness. But again this music is still epic. I would like to see a return of PS1 music also.

hopefully there will be an option to choose , like some do with UI and give option for default or 'classic ps1' music.

I usually turn music off in ps , keep eniro stuff on and listen to voice comms anyway. If I want to listen to music while playing Ive a whole catalogue of stuff of my own rather than any of this generic stuff.

Which is fine. You're welcome to do that. Lots of people get excited about the "generic" music in a video game, because it's composed and designed to be played off of certain cues in the game itself, in order to generate emotional responses such as building tension, denouement, or some level of inspiration...

OMFG I might actually betray NC just for the experience of blasting TR with plasma weapons while Vanu music is blasting in my beats. Just sayin.....(hopefully the NC music will actually sound better once it's not all synth and I won't have to betray my empire).

Yea I'm kinda upset I don't see the nc as rough necks hillbilly swamp people. Some dirty rap beats would be better. Anything would be better lol. I'll just have to mute the music. Other then that everything else sounds amazing!!!

What happend to size always matters?
The music are okay but why are the tracks only 1 minute long???
It was the same in PS1 1 minute tracks that you kept hearing looping over and overr till you ears started bleeding and then you turned it off completly.
