You're still wrong, the true Eastern world is China (and Korea and rest of Asia), both historically and geographically. (Although due to the wonderous way nature made our planet, we still think of all those places as further 'West' of the United States - at least in NA we do.)

I have been looking for clarification on the cutoff date after which new subs to PS1 are no longer considered veteran and will therefore not have priority access to the beta along with other veterans. The above post is the closest I have come to a solid date after looking through several threads.

Can we collate the sparse information we currently possess here? I realise the first post is currently the most accurate, but there are still questions over the definition of the term "veteran" which aren't addressed.

Ugh. This is just torture.

At least if we had a tentative date, I wouldn't have the urge to check every possible source every five minutes until that date arrived.

Agreed, and for that reason my productivity has vanished.
I am spending far too much time following each source to see if there has been an update.
If they came out and said June 30th then at least I would then be able to get a months work done in the next two weeks.

Maybe I missed this, but will they allow faction hopping in the beta, or will they have multiple servers for us to try out the different factions?

LOL. I was thinking the same thing so I found my old magic 8 ball and I asked it if Beta was starting soon and it said " It is certain". Hope this helps.lol.

I don't think they've given any specifics on how the Beta will go in this regard. I am fairly sure there will be multiple servers towards the end of closed and then open Beta.
