Can the vets get in as of right now? I just tried getting in and it says I don't have a subscription. I updated my station account a couple months ago from an expired email account and they said the account was carried over to my new email address.

Now I'm starting to wonder as I can't get in...are other vets getting in for free currently?

I was really expecting at least a date for beta. Now it's basically nothing. What's the point of hyping everybody and then say things we already knew?

Look at this way too . . . The stated they will be doing beta events before they do a 24/7 beta prior to launch. If thats the case, you can still do PS2 beta when the servers are up, rest of the time go back to PS1 just for the hell of it. Most likely what I'll be doing since I will not be getting involved in another game between now and release.

They haven't activated it quite yet, Higby posted on Reddit it may be around Thursday when they do it, but he isn't sure.

Wasn't the Liberator/Skyguard update prior to the Pounder getting gimped into being an AV MAX? I can't remember that clearly.

I started playing PS1 a few months in, so I never experience what it was like right after launch. I saw the addition of the LLU, but not the addition of NTU silos.

Cool news, I'm looking forward to playing PS1 again, and take your sweet time with the internal(whatever) beta so the game would be ready for the massive flood of players when beta begins

I got my key off a twitter DM, and at the time of redeeming the key entitled me with priority access. So, if I'm at the bottom of the entrance list, why did it even tell me I had priority access?

I'm not ranting, but basically it means I have priority after everyone else that's not me has been elected to test. Weird stuff.

Yeah, but being an exp beta tester myself for many games, for many years. No typical game related NDA will require you to not say you're in a closed beta. Even as far as talking about your impression (not given specifics) of the beta, though I usally hold those for feedback reports.

Either way, I've been very impressed with SOE/Planetside2 staff up to this point, and have complete faith in them. They have shown and proven to me at least to genuinely care about the PS community.

This is actually very accurate. The 'announcement' was more or less stuff we already knew (except for the PS1 part).

However, Radar's posts are more specific... and contradictory to the official letter.
