Fine... I just wanted to know but you're just being an ass... so nevermind...
And ya know... I know I fucked up... thats my fault, and you don't have to forgive me... but that doesn't mean I can't ask a sincere question like that... Like I care to suck up to you...

The caste list is going to screw over some people.
I hereby request disclosure of registration AT LEAST TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE so that people who are dependants can convince their parents/guardians. Wow, I feel politically correct.

I also think we need a FUND, starting NOW, to help with PSU:MB. *BRAVO. I thought we were using the Greek system.* Triggar really had to scrape the bottom to get this thing going.

Greeks are poo. Pilots rule.
I had such a good time with you guys, I'm still sleep deprived. We'll talk more about this so-called "caste system", but in all honesty I don't think it's going to be as big a deal as people think. And of course, you will all have LOADS of advanced warning as to when registration will open up.

If you are gonna open it up 1 member section at a time ie. PSU:MA members first etc.
I sugest that you let them have 1 day to do it before opening to rest so day x comes PSU:MA members have 1 day to sign up then the rest follows and also send email informing of that day and such, cause some people might be at work and such. And also the event group that got a long realllly well, there were no fights, bad arguments, just every one willing to help out and good times. |

w00t for PSU:MB im so there. *edit* a few things. anymore than 40 people and it ruins thats close family relationship thing we had going at MA. I seriously got to know just about everyone that attended. thay were all good people. not to mention what trig said about being a big PITA. second. yay for first dibs on MB. third, i know that a few non regular PSUers came to this one, and I'm glad they did, they turned out to be kick ass people, and i hope they attend again, but i do believe its in the title, PSU not PS, but PSU:MB [/elietist babble] Last edited by OneManArmy; 2004-08-25 at 12:54 AM. |

Why doesn't SOE just have a Planetside convention? Im sure after everyone sees the pics of PSUMA they'll be more willing to consider going to such a thing.
I'd really like to go. And after proving to my mom the Triggar is not a con artist (by showing her pics of PSUMA) I'm definitely ready. Problem is I see 40 people filling up really quickly. All the OF forum people will rush to sign up to PSU so they can fill up spots.

Okay, I have a poll calculator system 3000 (Powered by Abacus) that should help us calculate how crowded PSU:MB is.
Nice sig, Starbum.

Well first off in San Diego, besides geting a tour through Sony, what else is to do? I mean MA u guys went to Universal and Epcot, theres only like 2 things down in SD, Lego Land and Marine World. Disneyland and Universal (practicly the same things in Orlando) is more in LA and out of the way.
Planning stages MB is still in i know, but give us a brief rundown of what you are thinking of doing (besides of Sony). And will MB be posibly in the Winter, or next summer? I might attend just because this time i wont be down there a week before you guys are down there. Gonna have to fit into my football schedual though....some people missed a trip to hawaii for football....i hate that hanging over my head...

I'm kind of repulsed by the caste system (chances are... no slots will be open by the time I get my cash). See last time by the time I even got the cash together the registration was "closed"... kinda "not fair" if you ask me... but if there's a spot left open... count me in...

i just wish someone would decide to hold an event on the northeast part of the country. you know the NYC area where about 12 million people live within a 2 hour drive of each other. might not be much to do but i would take a weekend of paintball against those dirty VS over paying to register then trying to afford a plane ticket to SD.

Starbum that logo is 1337!!!
The "caste" system is designed so PSU-ers get first dibs, so Spider, relax. Also, there was a brief discussion about the possibility of holding one Mobilization in NYC... the logistics would be nuts, but that won't be for a while anyhow.

Ok as far as registration goes, i think you should open it up next year around February ,because right now every one that went needs to get their bank account back to speed and Christmas is right around the corner, which means hole in wallet , and then another month(January) to get bank account back.

Plan on the cost of attendance being somewhere in the ballpark of $400. Don't forget, Martyr and I have to pay our own way as well (we aren't rich), so we shouldn't go too far over that initial estimate.
Don't forget airfare and spending money. And also, when we do release the final cost, I don't want to hear any of you screaming, "BUT TRIGGAR SAID IT WOULD ONLY COST $400". Everything and anything is subject to change, and if you don't like it, don't come
