i did as i was low on SC any way. plus its SC so can be used for other games if you play them. which i dont atm but will in the future.

I didn't purely because I'm not playing the game as much as I used to. There's very little in the way of coordination between outfits on Connery and my main on Mattherson wouldn't get anything done anyway because the Vanu are so overpopulated. SOE doesn't deserve my money when they're mismanaging this game into the ground and being REALLY slow with the lattice implementation.

This game is dying and it makes me sad to see such an awesome opportunity wasted. Hopefully some other company will see what SOE has done with massive player populations and try it themselves so we can see a great game come out of the slowly rotting corpse of this one.

Bought like $10 or so, but probably wouldn't have if the esf update wasn't inbound.

I was hoping for a double or tripple, but i did buy 10k anyways!

So much for the f2p!

All the optical attachements made me pay ~300-500€ so far ;p

I spend $5-10 a month on SC, plus what I dropped for Alpha Squad. I didn't pick up any this weekend though since I've been a bit preoccupied.

To my thinking, every dollar you spend is a vote towards the kind of world you want to live in. I want to live in a world with PlanetSide 2, so I spend what I believe is a reasonable amount on it.

That's not to say that I unconditionally support 100% of what the dev team has done, but the game is still young and I'm optimistic about its future.

This game is dying? Very trollish remark. Please explain to me then why for the last 2 Saturdays for a couple hours on Connery there is a Queue for not One, but TWO of the continents? I was stuck on Amerish last night because Indar and Esamir were full. Which rather sucked because us VS had 60% of the pop on Amerish and no one really to fight.

I picked up a little to cover the cost of a flare launcher. I normally get Walmart cards to use for double-xp weekend, but that wasn't as cost effective with this promotion, so no go. Since I maintain a sub, I can't afford to spare quite as much for SC.

I was planning to buy a chunk of SC since I'm almost out, but a 40% discount combined with a US-only offer on pre-paid cards didn't cut it for me.

Also: I agree that this is a marketing exercise, and if sales like this do well we'll never see a 2x or 3x sale again. In which case, I'll never buy SC again.

Also also: it's true that most Vanu cosmetics look like crap. There are a few decent ones, but not many.

I wouldn't expect to see 3x SC ever again. Honestly all the "don't buy SC until the 2x/3x sales" people only have themselves to blame.

With the triple and double offers you can pretend that sony isn't taking the total piss out of you while spending money in the depot .

For any free player I'd advise them to stick with the perfectly fine default wepons and wait till a better offer comes or just not bother .

I dropped my usual for SC and bought my weekly 7 day xp boost, so I only needed 500 SC, that is it. I was considering the 3 month and 6 month 50% xp boost implant, but I wanted to leave the slot open just incase I wanted to change up to something else. So I just go my 7 day xp boost and thats it, I get everything else with the certs that I make. Not to mention it was a double xp weekend, so I managed to get a new weapon, and some new scopes for them.
