Now, I also assume if you delete your Steam PS2, you can just install a non-steam one and your account will log in just fine. That i'm not sure, so go to the official forum first and ask a moderator or create a support ticket. |

I have an idea for SOE. They must implement accopunt locking system so that I can configure it that it is locked for me any other day except the weekend That would be a great feature! And that I could not unlock it while it is locked.

I think your solution will not work because it is for parents to control children. But in my case I must control myself and I am a Sw engineer by education. So, if it is possible to hack the solution I will easily hack it.- I need a solution that is not possible to hack like slow download speed or SOe automatic locking that I suggested before.

And this is why games should be downloaded with no hit on bandwidth (within reason. eg: You're allowed to download a game once a week/fortnight with no effect on bandwidth).
For someone like me, this is a VERY serious problem. Was thinking about getting back into the game at some point (I stopped playing after that stupid sniper nerf) but now if I get back into it, it's HALF my bandwidth FOR A MONTH! As I only get 40gb a month (the ONLY option beyond that is unlimited and I'm with BT). So... Spend half my internet usage on a single game (and this is before playing mind) or go into town and look for games on discs that won't affect my bandwidth so much? Seems like a no brainer. Only way I'd put out half my internet usage is if I think I'd be playing the game for a long time. And before someone asks, I downloaded the game before the patches in the past, hence the hesitation of doing just that now. |

I'm talking about internet usage in general. There's X games which are free to play, but with games taking up more and more space it's getting to the point where one is being pushed towards higher (and therefor more expensive) internet options. Which kind of defeats the purpose of free to play thinking about it. I mean, would you pay a one time fee in a store for a game that would have taken half your internet usage online or pay a higher monthly fee just for more download space? It's cool if you can afford the later but not everyone can. It's not a fault of the game makers though, it's a fault of the only reliable internet companies that only provide minor amounts of internet usage without raising the internet allowance to adapt with the times. At least, that's how it is in the UK. People in America seem to have 200 gig+ to burn through. >_> |

Downloading the standalone installer will only download the files it need, and reduce the download by about the patch size.
You can get it Here (clicking the "download the game") if You are in the US Or PSG version Here if You in Europe
