Well for one your depth perception is better than looking at a 2D screen. I found it faster and easier to judge distance in games that didn't give me a distance readout.

It also sometimes made distant enemies slightly easier to spot since they literally stood out from the background.

don´t know if i still got them. but it doesn´t matter because they were plugged between the vga-port and the monitor. and so it´s not compatible with any modern digital videoports.
all these years the thing was incompatible because there were no general drivers. now when windows features the drivers, it´s no longer compatible because of the connector.

Ahh, that sux. Your vid card should be able to output an analog signal out its DVI-I port(s) so you could get a DVI-I to VGA adapter. But analog inputs are becoming rare on monitors these days ...
